Insert SEO friendly Meta Tags in the header of your Elgg powered social network site. Optimize Elgg site for Search Engines with this simple and light plugin. Works on Elgg 1.6.x and v1.7.x I’ve seen many meta plugins for Elgg but they all failed to insert meta description. This Free plugin will insert keywords and description meta tags. Description is used from “Site Administration” (Short description of your site) field and keywords you enter in plugin settings. Screenshots:
How to install
- Unzip juipo_elgg_metatags.zip onto your PC.
- Upload juipo_elgg_metatags folder to your mod/ directory on your server
- “Enable” it.
- Click “Settings” next to plugin title and Define keywords for your site
- Go to Admin Panel > “Site Administration” and define (Short description of your site)
