Elgg Photo and Video Fancybox – Elgg 1.8

Facebook style Fancybox popups for videos and photos allowing to view and comment on photos and videos in popup in Elgg 1.8. This plugin extends the functionality of two most popular Elgg media plugins: Tidypics and Videolist by making images and videos posted on the Activity page open in popup window using Fancybox plugin, allowing users to view photos and watch videos without leaving the Activity page.  Additionally photos viewed on Album page also open via Fancybox and include Comments so users can comment or like on the photos directly in the popup window. This plugin also offers several other features like Ajax loading of more comments, Ajax Commenting and Comment deletion on activity and in photo popups, Ajax Likes on activity and every other page on the site, scroll box on photo popups similar to Facebook, ability to share items on activity and pages on the site via ShareThis which can be disabled in plugin options page in case you are using some other Social Sharing plugin.
