HI,

This post was written for Elgg 1.6.1 ( from 1.5), Elgg 1.7 introduced many new code changes so in order for Elgg 1.2 theme to work on Elgg 1.7.7 you will need more than just updating jquery files.
There are security tokens and much more.
I can look at it if I found some time but we are very busy at the moment with custom Elgg projects.

Hi, this is a great idea, cause the file in ….elgg_1.2vendorsjquery are different from elgg_1.7.7vendorsjquery…

BUT, I do what you said, but don’t function at all, only the drop down menu, but the TOPBAR items(MENU-TOOLS-SETTINGS-ADMINISTRATION) aren’t in the topbar they are down…

Can you help me if I send u a screenshot of the site?!
(I am trying to put NOTEBOOK THEME(for elgg 1.2) in ELGG 1.7.7….Only a little thing isn’t displayed good…the topbar!

Hi, this theme is a customized Elgg Gamer theme with 4 extra mods: custom topbar, 3 column site-wide layout, Social Profile and 3 column riverdashboard. You can test it at http://elgg174.elggfactory.com/ . Either login with username: testuser, password: testuser or use facebook login in login pop up box.

I like this theme but how do i get it? Why are you hiding it ? I would like to try it out and see if it will work for the site i am building. Lets see it at work.

You can just re-download the theme now from this page, I just updated it. There will be two files that need replacing, css.php in modblack_pod_freeviewsdefault and header_contents.php in modblack_pod_freeviewsdefaultpage_elements.

Or just replace whole theme folder.

I just sent you an email as well.
