More New Themes for Elgg v1.7

It’s been a while since Latest Elgg v1.7 was released and need for compatible Elgg Themes has grown as most everyone upgraded their older but still stable Elgg v1.6.1 to new and now latest version 1.7.3.

We here at Juipo.com have been busy updating our Elgg v1.6.1 themes and making them compatible for latest Elgg v1.7.3 resulting in many new Free Elgg themes as well as some cool Premium Custom Elgg themes .

We are also working on new set of Free and Premium themes that will be compatible with new publicly not released Elgg v1.8 which is still in testing but promises many new enhancements and features. Things are looking good for OS social networking crowd.

New Free Elgg Theme for 2010

Last month we released two free Elgg themes and had a great response from our users/visitors and from the Elgg Community. BlackPod Elgg Theme was released on 12/06/2009 and downloaded 459 times as of this writing and Red Fashion was released on 12/20/2009 (11 days ago) and was downloaded 164 times.

New year is here and I’ll be getting ready to do some more elgg themes. Many people have asked about converting OS themes on Elgg Community so I need you to post a url to a free Open Source theme you would like to use for your elgg powered site and I will convert it for Elgg and make it available to download.

After about an week or so we will do a count and see which is most popular theme, if we get too many different submissions we will do a poll (unless it is be obvious what theme you guys want) and then you can vote/decide what theme will be converted first.

So go ahead and find the theme you like and would like to see as an Elgg theme and post url below in comments.
